Roads & Bridges (Code: R&B): Candidates with Degree / Post-graduation in Civil / Transportation / Highway Engineering and experience in designing state and National Highway road projects and interchanges. Should be familiar with geometric design, traffic analysis, pavement design, drainage design and cost estimates. Knowledge of IRC, AASHTO codes and MORTH guidelines is essential. Must have working experience in highway design software like MX Road. Road Bridges (Code: RB): Candidates with Degree / Post-graduation in Civil / Structural Engineering and experience in analysis using latest software, design & detailing of CD works, RCC / steel bridges and grade separated structures. Knowledge of IS/IRC/IRS codes and MORTH specifications is desirable. Exposure to international codes an advantage. Hydro Power Plant (Code: HPPA): Candidates with Degree / Post-graduation in Civil / Structural / Water Resource / Hydraulics Engineering with experience in designing overall systems, civil structures for hydro-mechanical and electro-mechanical works and other associated mechanical and electrical systems. Working knowledge of hydraulics and hydrology desirable. Experience in implementing projects in Indian conditions, specifically in the Himalayan regions, is essential. Exposure to international design environment and exposure to construction engineering methods, planning and estimation an advantage. UG Metro / Underground Structures (Code: UG): Foundation Engineering (Code: FE): Candidates with Degree / Post-graduation in Civil / Geo-Technical Engineering with experience in soil investigation, analysis and designing foundations, earth retaining structures, underground structures and ground improvement works. Knowledge of various Indian codes like IS/IRC/IRS is essential. Familiarity with international codes and experience in various foundation related design software like Plaxis, Wallap,geoslope/Talren an advantage. Nuclear Designs – Balance of Plant (Code: ND): A. Candidates with Degree / Post-graduation in Civil / Structural Engineering with experience in designing ‘Balance of Plant’ in nuclear and thermal power projects. Should be conversant with relevant Indian standards, international codes and AERB standards. Working knowledge of seismic & dynamic analysis of structures and software like STAAD. Pro is essential. B. Candidates with Degree / Post-graduation in Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation with specialization in designing mechanical systems, equipment design, piping design for air-conditioning and ventilation systems. – Design experience in static & rotating equipment, process systems, utility, steam & condenser systems, cooling towers (NDCT/IDCT), compressed air gas systems, water distribution & drainage system, fire fighting system and associated electrical & instrumentation systems is desirable. Should be conversant with relevant Indian standards, international codes and AERB standards. Experience in using latest software like CAESAR, AUTO PLANT, CATIA, ANSYS and ETAP is essential. Exposure to construction / erection methods, planning and estimation an advantage.
