OPaL ONGC Petro additions Limited, a JV promoted by ONGC, GAIL & GSPC, operating a grass root mega petrochemicals complex with a production capacity of 2.0 MMTPA Petrochemicals, at PCPIR/SEZ, Dahej, Gujarat is looking for a result-oriented, experienced professional with proven performance for the following position:

Post Name: Head-Polymer

Level: AVP, Location: Dahej, Annual CTC Range: Rs. 36.00 – 48.00 Lakhs, Upper Age Limit: 54 Years, Minimum Years of Experience: 24 Years

Broad Job Profile: The incumbent shall head the operations of Polymer plants which consist of 340 KTPA PP, 360×2 KTPA PE Swing, and 340 KTPA dedicated HDPE, Butene – 1, Product Warehouse (PWH), etc. He / She shall report to Chief Operating Officer, OPaL. The incumbent shall be accountable for consistent high-quality production of Polymers with the highest level of safety and environment standards and shall be responsible for the reduction of production costs, debottlenecking, quality improvement, etc.

He/She shall ensure consistent operational effectiveness, provide technical assistance for resolving customer issues, HAZOP reviews, HSE reviews, PSM audits, ISO audits, plant start-ups and incidents reviews, etc. The incumbent shall coordinate with the maintenance function for planned shutdown, preventive maintenance, monitoring the condition of equipment, root cause analysis of failures and implementing corrective measures, etc.

Desired Qualification & Experience: Engineering Graduate in Chemical/Polymer Engineering with a minimum of 24 years of hands-on experience in large-size Polymer operations. Experience in similar technology will be an added advantage.
