Helping children discover the joy of learning and making learning an exciting, creative process it is with this twin aim that the Zydus School for Excellence ventured into the world of learning initiatives in 2002. Zydus School for Excellence – Vejalpur (ICSE Board), which has completed a decade and Zydus School for Excellence – Godhavi (to be affiliated to the CBSE Board) which is in its third academic year together have over 2000 students on this learning path guided by a team of over 100 teachers. These initiatives to create a vibrant learning environment are supported by the Ramanbhai Foundation and Zydus Cadila, one of India’s leading corporate houses.
The Zydus School for Excellence invites applications from teachers who would like to contribute in shaping this creative learning process. Preference will be given to trained and experienced teachers with B.Ed. Persons having soft skills and IT. skills will be given preference. Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must for all the posts.
Subject Teachers
- Post Graduate Teachers : Accounts, Commerce, Economics, EVS, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Computer and English
- Activity Teachers: Music (instrumental and vocal), Dance (classical), Physical Education (M.PED), Yoga and Art & Craft with relevant qualification and experience
- Trained Graduate Teachers : English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Hindi, Computer and French .
- Coaches for sports and games (Part-time)
- Lab Assistants: Graduates in Science
- Primary Teachers: Graduates having a degree in Arts / Science with B.Ed.
- Counselor: Experienced in the field of clinical psychology with relevant qualification
- Pre Primary Teachers: Graduates having a degree in child development with the enthusiasm and ability to motivate young learners .
- Librarian: B.Lib / M.Lib., experienced in establishing resource centre at a school. Computer knowledge and proficiency in English is a must

Administrator : Post Graduates/Graduates with 8 to 10 years of experience in School Administration.
The compensation package for all posts will commensurate with qualifications and experience and will be the best. These openings are for the current as well as the new academic session 2013 – 2014. School Principal
Seeking an educationist with strong leadership skills who can inspire the school community with his/her vision. The ideal candidate must be a post graduate with a Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Education and should have demonstrated success in a school leadership position for atleast 4-5 years (as Principal / Vice Principal). He/She will have to-
- develop long-term plans for the school and establish priorities
- work closely with the teachers on curriculum development
- establish and sustain a conducive environment for teaching and learning
- encourage teachers to use a variety of techniques to improve teaching methodology
- engage and involve parents in an ongoing dialogue
- provide guidance in administrative matters
- strengthening ties and networking with the school fraternity at large.
It is important that the candidate is a team builder and is able to turn ideas into concrete actions. Teaching experience of atleast 10 years is necessary. An impressive personality, excellent oral, written communication and organisational skills are essential. Should be computer savvy.
Teachers
We also invite applications from teachers for the academic session in 2014. Preference will be given to trained and experienced teachers with B.Ed. Initiatives in conducting extra curricular events such as debates, dramatics, elocution, etc. will be given an additional weightage.
- Pre-primary Teachers: Graduates having PTC or Montessori training with the enthusiasm and ability to motivate young learners.
- Primary Teachers: Graduates with B.Ed.
- Trained Graduate Teachers: English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Hindi, Sanskrit, Geography, Computer and French.
- Post Graduate Teachers: Accounts, Commerce, Economics, EVS, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Computers.
- Activity Teachers: Music (instrumental and vocal), Dance (classical), Yoga and Art & Craft with relevant qualification and experience.
- Sports Director: A senior coach with 10-12 years experience who can oversee the sports programme.
- Cultural Co-ordinator: A co-ordinator who can oversee the co-curricular and extra-curricular programmes.
- Lab Assistants: Graduates in Science with minimum 3 years’ experience in laboratories and setting up experiments in Physics/Chemistry/Biology labs.
- Counselor: Experienced in the field of clinical psychology with relevant qualification
- Secretary: Proficiency in English and Computer skills are a must.
- Maintenance Executive: ITI/Diploma with knowledge in Plumbing, Carpentry, Masonry, Electrical and Construction. Skills required: Managing people and time, plumbing, carpentry, building and equipment maintenance.
