The KCP Group is a 71 year old diversified Industrial group with business interests in Cement, Heavy Engineering, Sugar, Power, Biotechnology, IT. As a part of the growth plans of our flagship company, The KCP Limited’s 57 year old Heavy Engineering Business located in Chennai with facilities for manufacturing High Pressure Vessels (thickness greater than 100 mm and weight up to 250 tonnes) and ASME certified in Design and Manufacture U and S code stamped vessels to ASME Sec VIII Div 1 and ASME Sec I.

Our main focus will be to manufacture High Pressure Vessels and Boilers to the Oil and Gas Industry, Petrochemical, Power, Chemical and other sectors at our well equipped and integrated Fabrication and Machine shop location which has already been approved by many leading Domestic and International EPC companies. As a part of our growth plans we are looking for the following candidates.

Head – SBU (High Pressure Vessels)
A dynamic business head to build and lead a team of professionals in-line with the next level of growth & expansion plans of the company. The candidate will be responsible for building up the High Pressure Vessels business with focus on high levels of customer service. A dedicated and well established team of professionals will be lending support to the position covering design & engineering, procurement, quality control, production planning and marketing of High Pressure Vessels.

Candidates would be Post Graduates in Mechanical Engineering and additional qualification in Marketing is preferable, with at least 25 years experience in High Pressure Vessels. Candidates should have worked in a similar position for a minimum period of five years in a leading engineering Industry. Knowledge of Quality aspects of Pressure Vessel manufacture and Interaction with leading Domestic and International consultants will be essential.

Head – Design & Engineering
Mechanical Engineers with more than 20 years experience in areas of design and development of High Pressure Vessels. Proficiency and hands-on experience in design and manufacturing of static components, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and other components is absolute prerequisite.

Candidates with experience in and exposure to product design processes and basic manufacturing processes, understanding of basic material selection, preparation of reports/bills of material, creation of interface layouts, correspondence, procedures, specifications and technical calculations would be considered on priority. Exposure to state-of-art software tools and processes would be an advantage.

Head – Quality & Assurance
Mechanical Engineers with more than 20 years experience in areas of quality control of process equipment related to pressure vessels, heat exchangers, boilers and other components manufacturing. Job responsibilities include establishment, implementation and maintenance of quality systems; analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns, responsible for planning, organising and managing overall Q&A activities of the SBU. Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure and suggest corrective and preventive actions and manage suppliers’ performance and conduct audits.

Head – Planning & Procurement
Mechanical Engineers with more than 20 years experience in planning and production control in Heavy Engineering industry having exposure to Planning, Developing and implementing strategy for PPC department.
They should ensure monitoring, execution and controlling of shop scheduling as per material flow plan and comply with ISO certification norms. Recording production data and consumption of raw material would be candidate’s responsibility.

All the above positions need thorough knowledge of ASME codes and are based in Chennai.
